    I love this place. I have been coming here for a while. Very low key. The staff provides excellent customer service from the time you walk in and from the moment you walk out. Waiter remembers my order. Hoshun is one of my favorite places in New Orleans.

    Ordered delivery late night for myself and coworkers. Everything arrived intact. Nice packaging, food was hot, looked appetizing. Food tasted as expected. It was meh.... decent but no WOW factor.

    Here's a bit of trivia about this quiet, low-key restaurant. It was originally built to be a hotel. Apparently, that didn't work out so the owner purchased the building and opened the restaurant in 2018. I have been several times for lunch and the staff has generally been attentive and friendly while the food has always been tasty. I hear it can get quite lively at nighttime, if that's your thing. I'm not sure if the service suffers during later hours. Long story short---give a try. You'll enjoy it, more likely than not. 👍

    I would rate them a 5 star, but they need to update their website before I rate 5 stars again. I use to visit this restaurant multiple times when I lived in NOLA, and it WAS the best. They had a happy hour Monday-Sunday from 3-6pm. I went to the restaurant because of this and their website also says they have the same happy hour. Instead of honoring it, they just said the site is outdated like that was the customer's fault. Outside of their obsolete website, the food was ok 👌 this time, which I am shocked because I was bragging to my friends about this restaurant and they were not impressed like I once was for Hoshuns. I hope you all update your website soon or start honoring your online menu.
